iPhone Setup Guide
IT Department • Company-Issued Device Enrollment
Below are instructions on setting up your new phone. Prefer hands-on help? You’re welcome to stop by my
office in the Admin Building and I can assist with getting your phone set up.
Step 1: Enroll Your Phone
- Turn on your phone.
- Locate the Company Portal app and launch it.
- Sign in using the same email address and password you use to sign in to your PC and email.
- Follow all on-screen prompts until enrollment is complete and your phone shows as “Managed.”
- Once you reach the end, you may close the Company Portal app.
Step 2: Wait for Your Company Apps
Please be patient! After about 10 minutes, your company apps will download automatically —
including Microsoft Authenticator, Outlook, and Teams. No action is needed while they install.
Once the apps have finished downloading, sign in to them in this order:
- Microsoft Authenticator
- Outlook
- Teams
Step 3: Create Your Apple Account
- Open Settings and tap Apple Account at the top of the screen.
- Tap “Don’t have an Apple Account?”
- Follow the prompts to create your new Apple Account.
Important: Do NOT use a personal Apple Account. Create a new Apple Account using your
@gaports.com email address.
