iPhone Setup Guide

Below are instructions on setting up your new phone. Prefer hands-on help? You’re welcome to stop by my office in the Admin Building and I can assist with getting your phone set up.

Step 1: Enroll Your Phone
  1. Turn on your phone.
  2. Locate the Company Portal app and launch it.
  3. Sign in using the same email address and password you use to sign in to your PC and email.
  4. Follow all on-screen prompts until enrollment is complete and your phone shows as “Managed.”
  5. Once you reach the end, you may close the Company Portal app.
Step 2: Wait for Your Company Apps
Please be patient! After about 10 minutes, your company apps will download automatically — including Microsoft Authenticator, Outlook, and Teams. No action is needed while they install.

Once the apps have finished downloading, sign in to them in this order:

  1. Microsoft Authenticator
  2. Outlook
  3. Teams
Step 3: Create Your Apple Account
  1. Open Settings and tap Apple Account at the top of the screen.
  2. Tap “Don’t have an Apple Account?”
  3. Follow the prompts to create your new Apple Account.
Important: Do NOT use a personal Apple Account. Create a new Apple Account using your @gaports.com email address.
